My name is Albano Godrie, I am 20 years old and currently in my second year of the bachelor Organization Studies. Besides my studies, I am an active member at my study association POLIS. It is incredibly valuable to be active alongside your study. Every student, Dutch or international, should get the chance to do so. Being a student in this day and age means more than just getting a diploma. It is about finding your place in the world, gaining experiences, creating lifelong friendships, and most of all: building character.
In the next year, I want to advocate for less mandatory lectures, less evening exams and more video lectures. In addition to that, I would like to make the flexible studying pilot more accessible for students. This all in the name of student development and flexibility.
In order for these things to happen, you need someone who listens to you and who is not afraid of taking action. This is exactly what I want to be for you, and this is what I want to work on in the university council for all of you!
